Use Global FinReg in ChatGPT

Global FinReg works inside ChatGPT, the AI assistant from OpenAI, as a custom app. Once connected, you can look up Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs) and check your own LEIs, renewals and invoices simply by asking ChatGPT.

Plus and Pro plans

Custom apps need a paid ChatGPT plan and work in ChatGPT on the web, not yet in the mobile app. On personal plans, OpenAI currently lets custom apps read data only: ChatGPT can look up LEIs and show your LEIs, renewals and invoices, and you renew, register or transfer an LEI on our website.

  1. On chatgpt.com, go to Settings → Apps → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Go back to Settings → Apps and click Create.
  3. Name it Global FinReg, paste the server URL above and choose OAuth as the authentication method.
  4. Click Scan Tools, then sign in to your Global FinReg account in the window that opens and approve access.
  5. Click Create.
  6. In a chat, select Global FinReg from the tools menu, or type @Global FinReg in your message.

Business, Enterprise and Edu plans

A workspace admin adds the app once for the whole team. On these plans ChatGPT can also renew, register and transfer LEIs for you.

  1. The admin goes to Workspace settings → Permissions & Roles → Connected Data and turns on Developer mode.
  2. In Workspace settings → Apps, click Create, name it Global FinReg, paste the server URL above and choose OAuth.
  3. Click Scan Tools, sign in to approve access, then click Create.
  4. Open Drafts and click Publish.
  5. Team members then go to Settings → Apps, find Global FinReg (marked custom) and connect their own Global FinReg account.

Try it

Once connected, ask things like:

  • "Find the LEI for Novo Nordisk A/S"
  • "List my LEIs and tell me which are due for renewal"
  • "Renew the LEI for my holding company and send me the invoice"
  • "Register a new LEI for my company"
  • "Transfer my LEI to Global FinReg"

What you can do

  • Search the global LEI database by company name or LEI number
  • See your LEIs and which are due for renewal
  • Renew an LEI, with the price shown before you confirm
  • Register a new LEI, including document upload and power of attorney signing
  • Transfer an LEI to Global FinReg from another provider
  • Download invoices and follow the status of your orders
  • Verify your company on Concordium with your Global FinReg LEI

The assistant always shows the price and asks for your confirmation before placing an order. Card payments go through a secure Global FinReg payment link: the assistant never asks for your card details.

Security and privacy

  • You sign in directly with Global FinReg. The assistant never sees your password.
  • The assistant can only access the LEIs and orders on the account you sign in with.
  • You can disconnect Global FinReg in the assistant's settings at any time.
