Use Global FinReg on AWS

Global FinReg is available on AWS Marketplace as an MCP server for AI agents. Connect it to Kiro, Amazon Q Developer or the agents you build on AWS, and look up, register, renew and transfer Legal Entity Identifiers (LEIs) simply by asking.

The listing is free: AWS doesn't charge you anything. You only pay Global FinReg for the LEIs you order, in the currency on your Global FinReg account.

  1. Find Global FinReg on AWS Marketplace and click Subscribe.
  2. After subscribing, AWS brings you back to this page.
  3. Connect your agent with the server URL above, as described below.

Kiro and Amazon Q Developer

Both read their MCP servers from an mcp.json file: ~/.kiro/settings/mcp.json for Kiro, ~/.aws/amazonq/mcp.json for Amazon Q Developer.

  1. Open the mcp.json file, or create it.
  2. Under "mcpServers", add an entry named "globalfinreg" with "url" set to the server URL above.
  3. Save the file and reload the MCP servers (or restart the app).
  4. Sign in to your Global FinReg account in the browser window that opens and approve access.

Your own agents on AWS

For developers building agents, for example with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore or Strands Agents.

  1. Add the server URL above as a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP).
  2. Sign-in uses OAuth 2.0 with PKCE. The server publishes its OAuth metadata, so MCP clients that support authorization sign the user in automatically.

Try it

Once connected, ask things like:

  • "Find the LEI for Novo Nordisk A/S"
  • "List my LEIs and tell me which are due for renewal"
  • "Renew the LEI for my holding company and send me the invoice"
  • "Register a new LEI for my company"
  • "Transfer my LEI to Global FinReg"

What you can do

  • Search the global LEI database by company name or LEI number
  • See your LEIs and which are due for renewal
  • Renew an LEI, with the price shown before you confirm
  • Register a new LEI, including document upload and power of attorney signing
  • Transfer an LEI to Global FinReg from another provider
  • Download invoices and follow the status of your orders
  • Verify your company on Concordium with your Global FinReg LEI

The assistant always shows the price and asks for your confirmation before placing an order. Card payments go through a secure Global FinReg payment link: the assistant never asks for your card details.

Security and privacy

  • You sign in directly with Global FinReg. The assistant never sees your password.
  • The assistant can only access the LEIs and orders on the account you sign in with.
  • You can disconnect Global FinReg in the assistant's settings at any time.
