Kiro and Amazon Q Developer

Both read their MCP servers from an mcp.json file: ~/.kiro/settings/mcp.json for Kiro, ~/.aws/amazonq/mcp.json for Amazon Q Developer.

Open the mcp.json file, or create it.
Under "mcpServers", add an entry named "globalfinreg" with "url" set to the server URL above.
Save the file and reload the MCP servers (or restart the app).
Sign in to your Global FinReg account in the browser window that opens and approve access.

Your own agents on AWS

For developers building agents, for example with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore or Strands Agents.

Add the server URL above as a remote MCP server (Streamable HTTP).
Sign-in uses OAuth 2.0 with PKCE. The server publishes its OAuth metadata, so MCP clients that support authorization sign the user in automatically.

The assistant always shows the price and asks for your confirmation before placing an order. Card payments go through a secure Global FinReg payment link: the assistant never asks for your card details.

Security and privacy

You sign in directly with Global FinReg. The assistant never sees your password.
The assistant can only access the LEIs and orders on the account you sign in with.
You can disconnect Global FinReg in the assistant's settings at any time.
